The most annoying thing is most people aren't getting moderated or reported, they're just mindlessly copying the very few people that might be affected by censorship.

They are walking into prison because someone with a megaphone got thrown in, and they lacked the presense of mind to question if the megaphoner should even be there. They just jumped in too.

It's almost like the powers that be want people's thoughts to start curving around the use of such language and by extension ideas. It's like a modern implementation of Newspeak. Holy shit! Its Wikipedia article even links algospeak as an example!
