I had to look up what aired in 2025 because I couldn't remember.
Stranger Things S5
Meh. The show repeats the same plot beats every season. We're too far removed from the 2016-era 80s nostalgia stuff for me to care that they licensed an 80s pop song again.
The Last of Us S2
Never played the games so idc about canon. The show dumped after Ep 2 and really embraced its Zionist metaphor. So now the show is Jeffrey Wright, who has some questionable politics, doing an impression of an IDC commander.
The Bear S4
I barely remember this. I think it was good? They should probably start wrapping it up.
Wednesday S2
Only had one good episode -- the body swap one.
Silo S2
Terrible.
Slow Horses S5
Enjoyed it. I can't say that it's the best writing but the sleezy spy stuff gets me.
The White Lotus S3
It was okay. I think S1 still had the best political themes.
Severance S2
It was okay.
Gen V S2
Hamish Linklater was good but otherwise it's a bad show.
Andor S2
Decent wrap-up to the show.
The Chair Company S1
I enjoyed it. I'm a little worried by the ending that it may go too absurd. We will see.
Pluribus S1
I want to watch the finale and sit on it for a bit before rendering a complete opinion. It's okay so far. Kinda too early to tell even with the season finale next week.
The Pitt S1
I'm not into medical dramas. The last one I cared about was House. It feels very realistic in terms of jargon and what you see doctors do. I don't think it will replace House in my mind. It's fine.
I wouldn't say I have a particular favorite. None of them stood out to me as mind-blowing or groundbreaking. It's mainly continuations of established shows and some of them I'm just in it for the sunken cost.
Damn, you're hard to please if you thought Andor S2 was only "decent".
I'm pretty anhedonic so most things are just fine or decent for me.
Wow... And here I am, confident that it's going to be studied in film and acting schools for generations.
