If the car's on fire, there ain't no software running any more. This is a massive hardware design flaw.

Have you ever tried exiting a Tesla? You press a button and there's a complicated dance of several motors that crack the window, undo the latch, nudge the door, and god knows what else.

It should be a pull handle that operates a mechanical override when you pull on it harder. Like every other fucking car. Because it's a car, and this is a solved safety feature.
