Community for CRPG games and other RPG gaming discussions. Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Baldurs Gate as well as indie RPGs (Underrail, Avernum, Space Wreck etc.). Focus is on CRPGs, but discussion around JPRGs, ARPGs and hybrid games with RPG components is also welcome.

Tabletop/pen & paper RPG discussion is not a good fit for this community. Check out !rpg@ttrpg.network for TT/P&P RPG discussions.

Memes are not banned, but the overwhelming focus is on discussions, releases and articles. Try and post memes (on an occasional basis) that would make people who don't like memes admit "OK! That was a good one!".

I kind disapointed because of the promisses of this game being the "new skyrim" i bought both him and KCD2 on launch (i never did that before) during my vacation.

I confess i wasn't waiting KCD2 became one of my favorite games and the most wonderful sequels for a game i've experienced on my life, but on the first part of Avowed i was more invested than Kindom Come.

The game isn't bad by any mean, except for the NPCs suffer the from ther "curse of the UE5 face" who makes everyone looking like they are using IG filters all the time.

The combat is basic but good, the worldbuilding is fantastic and i genuine stop sometimes to admire the scenario around me, what really hooked me up was the exploration and the gameplay, especially on vertical explorarion, parkour and jump.

Most of the story are very forgetful but it have his moments like

Tap for spoilerwhen you save the couple whose the husband was blind because of poisoning, and you discover than the reason of they are there are because of a murder, and if you choose save then, later you find them, in another region of the map, and get the best armor for the sniper build, as i was doing that exactly build

To put it short, i won't regret buying it, but i definitively would buy on sale instead full price.
