I didn't watched the movies, they really skipped Alia ? Well, thinking better, it makes sense, but who killed the baron Harkonnen on the movie ?

SpoilerPaul kills him, knife to the neck. Alia appears only in one vision from Paul, already a woman

Yeah, I know.

I've read all 6 books, loved all of them.

I first saw the first and second parts and then read the books, really happy I did. I really enjoyed the movies, they are a cinematic treat to the senses. Storywise I prefer the books by a long shot.

Yup, she is not in the movie.
