I'm still there (studying), and it is indeed pretty great here!
That was my experience as well. Saw Shanghai, Qingdao and Shenzhen this year.
I saw a bit of Shaanxi, Hunan, Guanxi and Taiwan (I stayed in Taiwan in the Spring semester), as well as the Yangtze River Delta as I'm currently in Shanghai. I think so far my favourite province I've been to is Hunan, it's so beautiful and diverse!
