Hey guys I like fringe but it's too hetero.

It's scifi/time travel etc.. I am soo interested in time travel. Please help!

Cis/straight guy here, hope my comments are welcome.

Jasika Nicole, who played Astrid on Fringe, is queer, and was frustrated that her character was never fully developed beyond having her name misremembered. She took it as a kind of erasure, which I totally get.

This of course doesn't remove or solve your issues with the show, but it does remain one of my favorites despite the production issues of the cast not getting along.

Should I ever get a tattoo, it'll be a white tulip. Be sure you watch that episode if you're giving up on the show.
