Actually no.
He has ~83K followers. I think he's popular at Bluesky because even if libs don't like him or think that he's silly - they think he's fighting some kind of good fight against the right and the left. He says he gets death threats. And from the left too. I think it's clear that he's an active fantasist. He's annoying and he punches left. That's not unusual at all but he's somehow made that a strong brand for himself. Don't ask me how.
And the far-right still sees him as a radical communist lol
The fact that political groups redefine words however and whenever they like is funny but it does produce some very weird results. At Bluesky the term "progressive" is often hilarious. It could actually mean somebody to the right of Bernie. And it also goes all the way to somebody who is basically a republican but says they are now a democrat and they don't have a single progressive viewpoint other than a tepid endorsement of public transit.
if Bluesky calls someone progressive there's an even chance they're a lincoln project lib. Their only criteria is "says trump bad"
so...future podcast host?
I'm actually surprised he hasn't started a podcast. I wonder why he hasn't.
