I didn't do laundry last weekend. Me bad. So the washing line spider had time to build a gigantic web across the support and the horizontal bit. I just found out when I walked face first into the web. Very glad it's a little house spider and not an orb weaver. Orb weaver bites HURT but aren't poisonous. This was merely a surprise and some frantic brushing off of cobwebs. Gertrude (my resident huntsman) is falling down on the job - she should have eaten this bastard by now.

My resident huntsmen are generally called Anslem, I forget why
