If you do want to have a positive side to it, I guess it helps people learn that their choices and/or lack of action has consequences ๐
People don't learn that from consequences. Is this your first time being human? They have to be taught that lesson the hard way, by having it explained to them until they internalize it. It can take decades.
In that case, I am happy for the people in the USA - they are in this process right now ๐
