Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37.
No criminal history. A lawful gun owner with a valid conceal carry permit.

I haven't commented on any of the content of this story until now.

Pay very close attention the the 'agent' wearing the grey coat, with his back to the camera before he turns around and walks towards it holding a gun.

He goes in hands empty, retrieves the gun from the suspects waistband, at the small of his back, and leaves before the first shot is fired.

Every shot was fired, by federal agents, at an unarmed individual. Plain murder.

So they took his gun and executed him with his own gun?

Edit: okay, it's pretty clear that one of the thugs disarmed the victim and fired a shot into the pavement as he was leaving, and a second later the victim was brutally shot to kill by other thugs.

I bet this was all on purpose - the shot to the pavement from the victim's gun was so they could claim the victim fired the first shot and killing him was in self defense.

I highly doubt it was intentional. That would require a certain degree of competence that is entirely lacking here. From the agent's initial and unecessary provocation, to the escalation with pepper spray, to the vicious attack on a compliant subject, there is no evidence of competency here. That the officer handling the victim's weapon lacked the most basic weapons handling skills seems on par.

I'm not really seeing your point. Why is competence a prerequisite for premeditated murder? Especially since they actually fucked up and got caught on video.

Hanlon's Razor. Incompetence adequately explains everything that happened here, and is, IMO, much more damaging. A competent group of conspirators can be brought under control. An incompetent group can't help but continue fucking up, time and time again.

The latter is much more dangerous.
