RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

I don’t know if this will help but I had to take a tough exam in my field. Pass rate for first time is about 50%. I was completely fluent, however, as you described…that happened to me. I went blank and lost morale. What carried me was actually not the content knowledge, but breaking down every part of the question in my head. I thought I was good at that until I started practicing through mocks. Anyway, I watched a lot of drill videos that helped improve and went into the exam, had a moment of anxiety, and slipped into that mindset of just doing drills. And it was a constant struggle to maintain. But I do recommend it as a strategy.
Yeah i did gave a few mock tests before but i kinda chose to do revision of practicing and that backfired ig
