Oh. That really sucks. :(
Most people don't realize today's chewing gum IS plastic. You can buy chicle gum tho, which is made from tree sap, hopefully people get wind of it and it catches on. The heart disease just caused by chewing gum is insane to think about, but people have no idea.
The article above mentions natural chewing gums and indicates that they release a comparable plastic load to synthetics. Iโm altogether too sleepy to parse the source document, though
