While these 2 are certainly martyrs, I feel that there are many other families of ICE victims who probably need the money more?

Maybe because they're both white.

A thing to remember is that Alex Pretti is the third known person shot so far, with one person, an unnamed Venezuelan national, who was beaten and then shot in the leg when he fought back fortunately non-fatally.

The fact of the matter is that they are extremely lucky that more people haven't been killed, given how reckless they are, and how often they are openly beating people.

It speaks to the general complacency of Americans, even as the radicalization happens. The only thing that counts on the consciousness are deaths, even as ICE literally tortures hundreds of migrants for nothing more than a misdemeanor that they haven't actually been charged with.

It is difficult to reckon with the scale of abuse happening here, especially since it has been in the open and reported on for a long time, to no real avail.

Maybe they will make enough to share it around, and maybe donate some of their own money.
