Make your own server to put them on.

Is this not what they have been doing so far?

if it becomes to centralised.

That's already the case with mastodon.social

Focus on features people have been wanting for years.

I believe that's what this is. People have been complaining about the mastodon.social default for years.

They are not just picking any random server, only ones that have applied and meet certain criteria.
