Our society definitely doesn't help, but I am about as free of the bs our society does as you can get and I still fucking hate how often I just forget that I wanted to do something or lose something forever... I can only blame society so much for the fact that I lose literally everything I care about the moment I don't need it for 0.0005 seconds (I set it down and it disappeared in that time)
