Lake Oswego is a rich conservative white woman sanctuary just west of Portland.
I'm not buying that this theater owner was playing the movie as a joke.
Why? Are you unable to read? it was stated on their website
"MELANIA (we don’t like her either!) starts here Friday 1/30 to play daily at 5:00* 7:45 🙇🏼 in the main auditorium 🙇🏼 * 5pm Sunday & Thursday shows subtitled for the hearing and/or accent impaired"
Sounds like they were having a giggle to me.
These included: “DOES MELANIA WEAR PRADA? FIND OUT FRIDAY!” and “TO DEFEAT YOUR ENEMY. YOU MUST KNOW THEM. MELANIA.”
Maybe they wanted to make money but they still did make jokes against it.
Then why did Amazon pull their rights to screen the movie because they made fun of it so much?
The theater owner can just order a different movie on Temu.
IN THIS ECONOMY?!?
Shop Like a Billionaire and import one made overseas. Like a mail order bride of success, because you're a total badass theater owner. Hugely.
Just because the residents are wealthy, white, Conservative women doesn't mean the theater owner or the person who put up the marquee is too.
