The loss of the theatrical rights is attributed to the Lake Theater’s marquee messages for the documentary. These included: “DOES MELANIA WEAR PRADA? FIND OUT FRIDAY!” and “TO DEFEAT YOUR ENEMY. YOU MUST KNOW THEM. MELANIA.”
Really not funny, offensive, or even interesting, but I guess that's enough these days.
The Prada one is mildly clever, implying Melania is the devil.
I kinda like the second one, about defeating them you must know them.

Sounds like they did it for the lols, made light fun of it in their promo material, and Amazon pulled the licensing.

I love this theatre - it's a mini Draft House and it is awesome.
