The Baltics are indefensible for NATO. This has been known for a long time now. Even when Russia was at its weakest it could have still overrun the Baltics before NATO even had time to react. Now Russia is an order of magnitude stronger, and NATO weaker and more fragmented than ever. The Baltics are protected only by Russia's patience and good will.
