Eh, I pick my poison these days and this may be too much for me
Like I used to be able to hate watch
but it was so bad it was making me physically unwell, the anger was bad for my health
These days I stick to getting really drunk or high and hate watching the MCU slop once every year or 2 to catch up on that nonsense, continuing my hate endless hate watch of new Simpsons episodes and hate listening to this god awful boomer lib radio host while I'm driving for work who I've been thinking about about making an effort post about because of just how much he sucks (neoliberal war monger biden dead ender democrat shill piece of shit who calls himself progressive)
Final edit: if I do make that effort post I'll be including the fact that his show takes calls and asking if anyone wants to join in a bit of a different kind of brigading
If any of you are wondering why I think this guy is worth going after let me drop this on you all, one week ago today he used the word tankie and it wasn't the first time
Every day we allow this to go unanswered feels wrong to me but I cannot make any impact on his audience alone
It looks like the reverse of The Americans. The genjutsu here is strong
Funnily enough I never watched The Americans because I assumed it was anti-communist trash lol
The creator spent a few years working for the CIA in the 80s and one episode actually has a story credit from oliver fuckin north. if you can get over that, I personally really enjoyed it. neither "side" is portrayed with much sentiment but I would say on balance more of the "likeable" characters report to Moscow.
It's worth a watch. It has some lib shit of course but I was honestly shocked at how good it was.
For the most part, it really isn't.
