We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."

The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.

The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.

It's time.

Do not organize specific subversive plans here.
Do not identify yourself or anyone else here.
Do brainstorm general ideas about how to support people who need it and stymie the efforts of fascists
Do share thoughts on how to be personally prepared for subversive action

If you're not already connected to local organizing efforts where you are, start looking for ways to change that:

Look up if there are any mutual aid hubs around you
go to protests and ask around
try to get involved with food not bombs and see if you can get linked in with more efforts
If ICE/CBP were sent to your state, you might ask folks who organizes ICE watch in your area. Here in central NC thats a workers rights group called Siembra

Any efforts to protect our futures and our neighbors will happen through local organizing with people in YOUR community, where YOU are at. If you want a democracy, this chapter of history seems to demand that we work for it; start figuring out how to get connected.

50501 is a great way to get connected! They have a discord server for NC (https://discord.gg/62cWYvwgs) with channels where folks will discuss other projects for a local area, it can be a great entry point! For folks seeing this it might be worth seeing if they have a server for your state also!

Don't compete with other organizations, unite and collaborate.

I'm sorry to hear y'all have faced harassment, I imagine it varries by where you are. I'm fortunate enough to live somewhere pretty progressive despite being in a red state. Sending love my friend, thank you for your efforts!
