I thought it was interesting. Didn't much care for the music — not my kinda thing. I thought it was well produced. I wish it had subtitles so I'd know what he was talking about. The lack of subtitles, given the production quality elsewhere, tells me it doesn't really matter what he was saying, and I'm not sure that's the message Bad Bunny wanted to send, especially with his message of unification at the end. I understood that part. When he named all the countries in North and South America.
I also realise I don't have to like the music. I feel like gridiron football appeals mostly to men of all ages, from young boys learning how to play to older men who have been watching for years (or, even if you don't watch much). But I also feel like a lot of the extra stuff isn't targeting me. I do subscribe to Apple Music, but even that seems marketed at the younger generations. Most of the ads were targeting younger people. So I'm fine with that. It was entertaining to watch and most of the music isn't going to be for everyone. I'm sure there were people who didn't like Michael Jackson's performance way back when, or even Prince's more recently. I do feel like for having the Super Bowl at the San Francisco 49ers arena, they could have got a California band. I'm referring specifically to Metallica and the efforts of their fans (which I used to be) to see them play a Super Bowl one day.
