On the other hand
Those manufacturers could easily be not selling to anyone soon.
All those 4 EV as SUV. SUV are full of problems for society and I would rather avoid them.
Cars are the problem, full stop
For sure that’s even better, but let’s not let ideal block “better”.
A bit of encouragement walking my dog today …… up the street is a family of contractors, including five kids that are now young adults. Most of the time I’ve lived here, they’ve had 4-5 F-150s parked out front. This morning not one. Four cars and I even saw one of them drive up in a Honda Civic!!!
Overall I agree, and I hope things get cheaper when manufacturing keeps becoming more global rather than the manufacturing hubs we currently have.
I saw Rivian’s new vehicles at the L.A. Auto show, along with several other manufacturer’s hybrid and EV cars. The Rivians were nice cars. The next two years will hopefully see a lot more options, and most importantly, affordable options if the sticker prices I saw are to be beleived.
