A quarter of those it surveyed in Australia said the "mateship" they feel with other Australians, as well as how they "lend a hand" in times of need, such as natural disasters, were a source of pride.

I'm proud of some of our sane government policies. Preferential voting, health care, welfare, some environmental policies.

Preferential voting is a huge step further than most other Western countries. Huge. To the point where states using FPTP should seriously hesitate in calling themselves democratic at all.
