Just finished the first collected volume of Absolute Batman and loved it. Hopefully they keep up...

...Using his old rogue's gallery turned childhood friends as another tool he could use. I'd prefer that over him using gadgets, which is so far a lot of what he's been doing - at least until the very end of this volume - but it makes him too similar to normal Batman I think. Maybe it's the people-power believing commie and organizer in me talking lol. But other than that, it's been pretty awesome seeing working-class Batman kick ass.
