Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

The right-wing wants to ban us from public life because they believe a woman having a penis is inherently pornographic, because that's literally their only exposure to us. It's not just about the euphemism treadmill, the way porn portrays us is actively making our lives worse. We're overly sexualized to the point that they believe they need to protect their children from us. It is dehumanizing.
Porn doesn't have to be this way, but to fix it there would need to be a total transformation of the entire industry and media landscape. It's a serious problem and no one wants to confront it, because they like their porn and don't want to give anything up.
That's all fair, and I can see how right wing porn memes contribute to that kind of problem. Trans women need more non-pornographic representation and not be automatically treated as fetish objects. Still, I think it's relevant that this is about something someone was saying about furry porn, which as a whole has pro-LGBT politics.
I don't think the politics of the porn can actually address the root problem, which is that we're seen as inherently pornographic. It's probably less bad for the porn to have good politics, but I don't know if that's actually the best solution to the problem. We need a lot more non-pornographic representation, but we probably also need less pornographic representation along with it.
The politics of the porn might even be irrelevant to the problem, because the problem is that our existence is X-rated. Whether the porn has good or bad politics won't actually change whether or not they believe we need to be kept away from children.
I don't know how much it would actually effect it either way but it definitely determines whether whatever narrative and characterization is present implies it. If it's furry porn it is way less likely to have the typical hentai theme of woman + penis = uncontrollable sexual aggression for instance.
