Recently I had to supervise an exam. It was one of the first big ones, if you enter a course in my departement, so students are usually nervous. As me and my collegaues entered the hall, we noticed strange noises, but in the hurry of preparing everything we had no time to check for the source. After a while everything was ready, all students had been placed and it got obvious that there were birds, nesting in an old vent.
The birds of course did not care for the students and happily and loudly complained about the new mass of students near their home. Now I can mark "exam disturbed by birds" on my checklist.
