The Kiev regime is now hunting for cannon fodder among ethnic Romanians in the villages of occupied Northern Bucovina. Romanians who resist forced mobilization are being fired upon by armed Ukrainian soldiers.

I cannot believe that the traitors in Bucharest still refer to Ukraine as “our ally” when the Kiev regime treats the Romanian people in Northern Bucovina this way.

(The same is being done to ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia. But at least the Hungarian government refuses to support the Nazi Kiev regime.)

I trust you, comrade, but please provide a source.

This specific incident is on video, you can literally see it happening. There are countless videos like this on social media, you unfortunately cannot avoid them if you follow this conflict. The sources are the people filming it. Most of them have to stay anonymous when they post or they get a visit from Ukraine's Gestapo.

Some examples in this article (content warning):

https://head-post.com/europe-shocked-by-violent-mobilisation-efforts-in-ukraine/

As for the forcibly mobilized often being beaten or even killed, here is an article from a western publication where they cite the families of victims saying so:

https://inews.co.uk/news/world/how-ukraine-military-press-gangs-grabbing-citizens-streets-4115968

(Incredibly, they still try to twist it into a story about how it's because of "Russian propaganda" that Ukrainian people are getting angry about this mass scale kidnapping campaign.)

And: Mobilized Ukrainians mysteriously dying at recruitment centers

Here is an article about Ukrainians starting to rise up against these brutal press gangs:

https://nationalsecurity.news/2026-01-16-ukrainian-civilians-resist-brutal-forced-military-conscription.html

Here is article about Ukraine trying to illegally conscript ethnic Hungarians:

https://www.philippinetimes.com/news/278678361/kiev-illegally-tried-to-conscript-ethnic-hungarians-budapest

And: Ukraine uses forced recruitment to liquidate Hungarians in Transcarpathia

And another about Kiev targeting ethnic minorities to use as cannon fodder:

https://theins.news/postview/2083-zelensky-regime-targets-minorities-as-cannon-fodder-in-cynical-move

The Romanian minority is smaller than the Hungarian minority so you will not find as many articles about it (plus the Romanian government and most Romanian media are complicit and do not protest these practices unlike the Hungarian government), but for sure the same is happening in ethnic Romanian minority regions.

Some of us aren't keeping up with the war and don't have much of a social media presence to boot, comrade.

I avoid following Ukraine and Gaza as much as possible. The sheer volume of death and destruction is just too depressing for an extremely empathetic person like me. For my own mental health I don't go looking for the horror and would rather just let it filter through periodically.

Totally understandable. It's difficult for me too.
