A new leak is pointing to what AMD’s Zen 7 desktop lineup might look like, complete with alleged package renders and a multi-SKU strategy that spans high-end, performance-focused, and mainstream parts.

Quad channel RAM will have to become standard at some point. And the RAM isn't more expensive just because the CPU has more cores.
If you build an 8 core system, the RAM will be just as expensive. The high RAM prices hit everything.
I only wrote we are getting close, to me it's close if it comes within a couple of years. Remember this was compared to the 80's, which was about 40 years ago.
