Pain and Gain. I genuinely think Salo is a good movie and Pain and Gain was just do offensive to every sense at a time it overwhelmed me. I'm honestly impressed by it on this regard. It is offensive to every sensory organ
I saw Salo recently and I was surprised by how much it actually made me think and analyse it, given what I'd heard about it over the years.
yes, it's gross, but it's less "shock for shock's sake" than i was expecting
I memory holed that movie. I went with some dudebros and I thought "Well, the Other Guys was fairly funny, and The Happening was unintentionally funny, so the odds of this Wahlberg film being funny is pretty good"
Boy was I disappointed.
Pain and gain is in the "so bad it's good" bucket for me.
