6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

That’s a long list of companies I’m not going to fuck with anymore. They can produce whatever they want, doesn’t mean we have to consume it.

We are absolutely NOT obligated to consume ANY of that corporatist shit.
Best thing I did was get rid of my TV when I cut the cable back in 1999.
My current TV is a 50" budget "special needs" 4k Hisense I use for gaming. That's it.
I mean, animal crossing and tetris exist.
I have just been struck by the absurdity of discussing the merits of news networks and video games with a person choosing to call themselves "Satan's Maggoty Cum Fart"...

Maybe at one point this was true, but Fox News has gone off the deep end, and CNN is now owned by a right wing billionaire.
I'm 100% certain this account has been compromised. I've been in many heated discussions with this account but they've never gone this far over the edge

They don't teach you to be a hateful bigot, though, unless you count shooting brown people in CoD.
It won't be hard to avoid. Most of it is going to be lame propaganda that you wouldn't want to watch anyway.
They're also going to go full-on into AI slop, which you likewise won't want to watch.
I already don't watch any of them, but now I can have a chip on my shoulder about it. Win/win.
Consuming it, but not paying them anything for it, is also an option, but I certainly respect avoiding it altogether out of principle.
