We really dont talk enough about how Trump and the modern right was made possible by 90s politicians. Those dumbass "new democrats" who basically decided to be Reagan Lite and the Republicans who happily turned the wheel even further right in response.
Trump is just the symptom, he is not the disease.
When he leaves office (by hook or by crook) the disease will remain; they have purchased replacements already.
Like Squid Game -- the billionaires have already chosen a replacement and continuing the operations.

So refreshing to see another person who realizes this didn't happen overnight and has been an incremental and bipartisan project.
Unfortunately, the US education system teaches that everything is compartmentalized and not interconnected to other actions by government. A cut here, a clip there, before we know it, the entire tree has been taken down.

Best thing I did was get rid of my TV when I cut the cable back in 1999.
My current TV is a 50" budget "special needs" 4k Hisense I use for gaming. That's it.

It won't be hard to avoid. Most of it is going to be lame propaganda that you wouldn't want to watch anyway.
They're also going to go full-on into AI slop, which you likewise won't want to watch.
I already don't watch any of them, but now I can have a chip on my shoulder about it. Win/win.
Consuming it, but not paying them anything for it, is also an option, but I certainly respect avoiding it altogether out of principle.

Over here in Europe, it's extremely obvious. Everything a left-wing party does is scrutinized, every new right-wing scandal is barely worth mentioning.

None of them. It came from fox news and right wing YouTube. And it's a minority that's shrinking and increasingly isolated from everyone else, who are all growing more and more disdainful of the right.
