probably should've just baited them with an HVDC project to make the DPP look bad for refusing.

I just learned about marine HVDCs but now I wonder why isn't more of it everywhere. Like, connecting all the Caribbean islands, Europe and north Africa have only two lines? Ok lots of them on the way, fine. I thought it was impossible for some reason, what an idiot.
