China has never renounced the use of force to bring Taiwan under its control.

They really don’t even try with this stuff. So if i crack open a history book surely i will see some passages about the Chinese government invading Taiwan in the past right?

the US has never renounced the use of force to bring Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Mexico, Palestine, Russia, China, France, Japan, the Philippines, South Africa, Colombia, Korea, Vietnam, Nigeria, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Ohio, or Taiwan under its control*

I just learned about marine HVDCs but now I wonder why isn't more of it everywhere. Like, connecting all the Caribbean islands, Europe and north Africa have only two lines? Ok lots of them on the way, fine. I thought it was impossible for some reason, what an idiot.
