There has been some discussion here about a community where artists can share their work. This community seems like an obvious place for that, but it is currently mostly people sharing art that they appreciate.

I was thinking of possibly doing weekly threads where people could share their art without having it show up in the main feed, but I would also like to open up a discussion on it.

Since I had totally forgotten that I was a moderator of this community since it's never generated any reports, I also went ahead and set the banner and thumbnail to something random. (Last art image on my phone and the first post ever in this comm). I will pick replacements from this thread that get the most upbears.

If you think having a mega to share stuff more casually is good I can try and set one up this weekend, as for the posting your own stuff I think it's a pretty clear yes from everyone. This was more to just have a spot here for the users that were asking in the meta thread

I personally support the idea of a mega for posting WIPs, I would even volunteer to set it up. But now I am not so sure how much activity it would realistically get.

If you want to set it up I'll pin it! That's why I planned on keeping them up for like a month or so.

Sounds great, but how do we synchronize this action so it doesn't remain unpinned for half a day? Not just that, but we might disagree on how it should be structured. How do we resolve this?

Thank you for your trust, I accept this arrangement and will set up the first WIP/art discussion mega before the end of this week, following the structure I already outlined in this thread.
