I mean, yes, but NASA has a substantial return on investment compared to other government ventures. The tools developed and lessons learned about surviving in inhospitable environments will be critical in dealing with the climate crisis.

I'd much rather healthcare come from decreases in the DOD budget and/or taxing the ultra wealthy.

The copyrights are public content so we as a country do better rather than say Elon or some other billionaire owning everything and charging out the ass for the right to use the thing we paid for.

or, crazy talk, prevent the climate crisis?

That would've been awesome. Though we are already in it, so the only way to advance is through management and resolution.

Don’t bother with OP they will constantly espouse the worst opinion, and always at the expense of liberal sciences and thinking.

This is the same poster claiming any association with liberal principles is tantamount to genocide…

You could literally create the healthcare solution to their problems and they’d still call you a genocidal enemy because they aren’t in this for a solution, they are n it for any excuse to make an enemy… one that seems to always impugn liberals and never mentions conservatives… such a weird coincidence, how it keeps happening and happening…

They aren’t worth the engagement. Down vote stupidity and move on…

Conservatives are just another flavor of Liberal. As leftists we oppose all kinds of Liberalism, whether it's the conservative bootstrappy kind or the Nordic welfare state model, everything that preserves the dominance of capital over people is a net evil on the world.

As to why leftists tend to criticize Democrats more than Republicans in the context of US politics: no one who supports the GOP wants a better world. Lots of people who do want a better world have been fooled into thinking that the Democrats are fighting for that better world and need to be disillusioned so that they will join the actual fight for a better world, instead of wasting their time and effort on supporting the controlled opposition.

Yea NASA is your real problem…

Makes sense you’d target scientific exploration. Never seen a post of yours against GOP warmongering. You seem to always have the worst take… Hell a fucking moronic take.

They spend our tax money on anything but universal healthcare.

And as a result you have inventions like the cat scan which saves countless lives.

By your logic we should nuke the dept of education as well? Those are dollars not spent on healthcare but instead knowledge..:

Scientific discovery comes around as a benefit if you aren’t stupid. The price of healthcare is not a result of scientific discovery.

One more example of your shitty politics cutting off your nose to spite your face.

We all want healthcare, the difference is you would make us all dumber since you are too stupid to fund both.
