Pictures of any and all nations. Modern and historical photos are allowed. Photos may be of vehicles, equipment, troops, installations, or anything else military. Photographs of military hardware that is being displayed, but has not yet been adopted are allowed. Photographs of historical military equipment that are in a museum are allowed.

The M2 heavy machine gun has been in use for a very long time, and I recall some articles a couple years back highlighting a particular instance of that weapon
not just the type
that had remained in use for a long time.

The XM148 still being in use is a little more notable, because that's an original production launcher. Only 20,000 were made (compared to the approximately 3 million M2 variants that have been, and continue to be made), and they were pulled from US use in 1967. The M203 is a far more common weapon that superceded the XM148, firing the same ammunition but with a more streamlined design.
