Obviously it'd be better all around if he never had a stroke to begin with but I feel like it's nice to hear his poems and notice the significant improvement in his dictation in each one.

So many people get shit that's impossible to recover from and strokes affect such a vital part of the person so it's just kind of nice to know someone's recovering nicely.

I was so impressed (and excited) when he showed up in the latest episode. And his poetry is really fun. Matt Christman was one of those working class intellectuals you gotta admire and appreciate, and inspired me to learn more! I'm glad that he is recovering.

I like his poetry and his attitude about the whole thing. The cognitive effects are nothing to be ashamed of, and he's clearly tongue in cheek embracing them by coming on and by writing his poetry. I'm glad he's starting to do so much better.

Was that a patreon episode? I need to hear from him again
