Once RIF was out I haven't looked back.

Me too. Gotta admit though I'm considering going back because I miss the niche hobby communities. I'll probably going to visit on a desktop browser, the phone app looks like garbage

Same here. I only end up on Reddit when I search for a solution to a problem which has an old solution still up on Reddit. I always try lemmy first, but it's not showing results in Google yet. I'm worried that the refresh rate for new posts on lemmy isn't high enough to keep users coming back several times a day. Slot machine mechanics work for a reason, lemmy needs to ramp up engagement or the decline in users will continue.

Same. I use sync for lemmy now. I won't say lemmy's the same, but it still gives a source of off-the-beaten-path current event stuff. so I'm good and never scroll on a reddit feed anymore.

Same here. I think I've posted maybe once on Reddit since then and ironically got more responses here despite the communities being smaller.

Same. I do occasionally (~once every 2 weeks) check one or two specialty subreddits that just don't exist anywhere else, but I just use a browser and I don't log in

Losing RIF was a deal breaker. Since then, I switched to Sync for Lemmy and customized it pretty close to RIF. I love it. I'll occasionally go back for niche groups, but generally prefer this now.
