I am seriously starting to think Trump has never seen a forested area in his life. What a fucking dumbass.
Remember when he said that forest fires started because people didn't rake the forest enough?
That's been a long running line of propaganda from the lumber industry. "old growth forests are messy and us lumber companies will clean them up!"
Which is funny because if you've ever been to an area that's recently been logged (or "thinned" as they like to spin it), the ground is completely covered by a thick layer of all the branches they've trimmed off. Nope, no fire hazard there...
