Unfortunately it's not, Newsom wants to add 5 blue seats to match what Texas is doing, that's breaking even and it keeps the status quo as it is now, which is already unbalanced and leans hard right.
If he actually wanted to fight back he'd be going for every blue seat he can.
Even if other blue states follow suite it won't be enough, they need to go nuclear with it.

You're probably not getting banned for "NO" reason, considering you completely disregarded Rules, 1, 2, and 6 with this post.

Newsom only wants to match Texas by adding 5 blue seats, it's pure theatre.
If he was serious he'd squeeze California for all the seats he could get, but he's just keeping the field level with what it is right now. The problem is, the way it is now is already heavily right leading nationwide.
California needs to cancel out more than just Texas.

"how much it will cost depends entirely on the whims of our president and his unpredictable tariffs"

Time is just a fourth dimension we can only move one direction in, in this form.
There are (fictional) stories, like "The Egg" for example, in which God or a god can reincarnate you as anyone in any time.
In "The Egg" by Andy weir a man is killed in a car accident and reincarnated as a Chinese peasant girl in the 16th century.

I hope he gets reincarnated as a slave girl on Thomas Jefferson's plantation.
The sooner the better.

Ah, so there finally done scrubbing Trump's name from the list and adding every Democrat elected to the house, Senate, and Governor positions.

He's banking on that, so he can have Congress throw out the votes from those states because "they didn't follow the rules"

Corporate culture is based on constant growth and ever increasing profit margins. Eventually they'll amass so much of the wealth that most of the lower class won't be able to purchase anything other than essentials like food.
No new cars, no tech gadgets, no fancy dinners, no vacations, no disposable income.
When we get there the economy collapses because there's no money going into it.
The profits stop rolling in, unnecessary goods stop being produced, and the luxury goods producer's shut down.
At this point the money they worked so hard to hoard becomes worthless because they can't buy anything with it.
What's the endgame for them if their current path takes them to a point where their assets are more or less worthless?

Long pressing on a comment has always collapsed it unless you were replying to the comment, then you could long press to highlight a string of text to quote for a reply.
Now, long pressing closes the parent in reply mode and there is no way to highlight text to copy for quoting purposes.

Every self-respecting Democrat or leftist who cares about themselves or their family should own a firearm and know how to properly and safely use it.
We're entering a time where it may be critical that you need to defend yourself. It is not out of the realm of possibility that you or your family may be targeted in the not distant future for your political leanings.
We all know that the Republicans have guns because they never shut the fuck up about them, and we also know that in their wildest wet dreams Trump will let them run the streets gunning down anyone who is isn't white or anyone who voted Democrat.
They have guns, they know how to use them, how are you going to defend yourself when they come for you?

I get it, Biden is old and that's a problem, but why doesn't anyone seem to have a problem with the fact that Trump is almost the same age, has 34 felonies, raped at least 2 women, went to Epstein's Island 11 times, sexualized his own daughter, stole classified documents, aligned himself with Xi and Putin, and can't remember common names?

Is all of that really better than being 2½ years older than he is right now?
