I recall reading somewhere that an early draft of The Force Awakens opened with a shot of Luke's hand floating through space.
'How did it get into space?'
'The Force!'
'That's not how the Force works!'
Which doesn't make any sense as it was cut off in the atmosphere of a gas giant. Not that logic or details would get in the way of JJ.
Oh it was a planet, I always thought it was some gas clouds in space
Somehow Luke's hand has returned.
