Don't know why I thought now was a good time to reduce my caffeine intake.
Mild headache today and I've come home cooked AF.
Missing my home time espresso to perk up for the evening.
Was very hard to convince myself to put some veggies in the oven to roast
I forgot to have my morning coffee yesterday. Around lunchtime I felt like ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag. Took another few hours to realize why I felt like that. Ended up not having one, but it was a struggle.
Absolute addicts for our caffeine fix
A few weeks ago I had the worst headache of my life. I’m not kidding. Multiple Panadol did nothing. I felt like I’d been hit by a truck. I thought I was having a migraine or I maybe Covid or the flu was coming on. Then I realised that I’d been too busy to have my usual morning coffee.
Had one and the headache was gone in 5 minutes.
It was the first time that I was like “shit… maybe I should cut back.” But the threat of a headache like that again is enough to keep me drinking it
It'll get easier with time.
Just glad I'm not going cold turkey. pretty sure I would feel like I was dying
Smashing the waters? Or even just replace every coffee with a green tea to wind down slowly.
Drinking tea as well, and I'm only reducing not cutting out completely.
But it's rough since I didn't realise how much I'd upped my intake to cope with the increase in my workload in the new job.
Damn my work for having such a good coffee machine. All day access to espresso is dangerous
