Republican former Rep. Liz Cheney said she believes a GOP majority in the House in 2025 would present a “threat” to the country.

“I believe very strongly in those principles and ideals that have defined the Republican Party, but the Republican Party of today has made a choice and they haven’t chosen the Constitution. And so I do think it presents a threat if the Republicans are in the majority in January 2025,” Cheney said in an interview that aired on “CBS Sunday Morning.”

Cheney, who represented Wyoming in Congress from 2017 to 2023, said current House Speaker Mike Johnson was “absolutely” a collaborator in the effort to overthrow the 2020 election and he should not be speaker in 2025.

Liz Cheney wants to act like she’s so altruistic and such a hero, but the fact of the matter is that if she really gave a fuck she would leave the Republican Party. Anything other than that is bullshit lip service. And that’s not to mention all the damage her father did, but I guess I can’t fault her for who her father is.

It's disgusting people fall for her bullshit, she is a awful human who paved the way for Trump extremists and now she is trying to act like she had no part in it. She helped all this extremist shit along the way until it got too real for her and now wants to act like she fought the good fight the whole time. She's a coward and pathetic excuse for a human

And go where? She's still an extremist, she still wants an extremist party just not quite as much as they are now.

Work a real job for once in her fucking life? Her entire career has been either government jobs her dad got her or sitting on thinktanks. She has a law degree, go be a lawyer. Defend some drunk driver or write up a will or help someone buy a house. Plenty of shit she could be doing.
