This kind of toxic behavior is always at least a little mystifying to me, but honestly, given the video in question, I'm extra flummoxed. It's such a short nothing burger of a video. And it's a guy liking girls. Like....WTH?
This kind of toxic behavior is never really "acceptable" but that aside, with all the rage bate tier content available on any given platform, people chose this as the target of their ire and harassment?
Some context that might help you guess the type of person who's harassing him: Nobody said a negative word about the video when it was released. However, about a year ago, he started doing regular FFXIV streams collecting donations for a trans rights charity, which went viral at least a couple times, and suddenly a whole new "audience" are mad about an old video celebrating the diversity of women. It doesn't help that he presents as a cute little softboy instead of some testosterone-drenched paragon of masculinity, or that it's a video about how he likes all kinds of women, even strong, independant ones, not just big-boob bimbos and tradwives 'The Way A Man Should'.
I don't know if I'd even call it cringe considering it seems so self aware. Dude was just making a silly video out of a stream clip.
But it's a parody of another song. Can it be "cringe" if it's just a joke?
In addition to what they others said: why are you policing how others express themselves?
