Steam users gave it to Starfield as a joke
Luckily game awards, or really media awards in general, have never had any integrity so we're okay.
Game awards, movie awards, music awards, and so forth are phony, so it's okay that people pranked the steam awards.
There are actual indie devs that could have used the attention though
Ya and I could have won eotm the last two months, should have even. Butt fucking Josh is bffs with the damn manager. Awards are rigged, dont try, don't meet your heros.
It's not Josh's fault the manager is a bottom
They’re phony, but it still emboldens the studios. And let’s be real. Everyone pretends to not care about awards but they’re in the marketing for a reason. People see ratings and awards and they flock to that shit.
