Yeah I'm sorry to inform you. He may know statistics and numbers and all that, but his head is completely warped with transphobia and homophobia to the point of obsession. He's always been a little reactionary I think, like I remember someone once told me he was against Irish liberation in the 70s. He's real bad now, he goes around saying the LGBTQ+ movements are CIA false flags designed to destroy socialism. He literally is what liberals accuse us of being: complete class reductionists who disregard sexual/racial/religious/etc liberation.

I wish I could recommend someone similar who has similar academic credentials and isn't a horrible person. The closest I know is Alexander R. Galloway, who wrote Protocol, a really good book on digital networks from a Marxist perspective.
