The cool part is if you wait long enough you totally don't even notice it's scattered around like a wreck. Putting your pants on in one place and grabbing a shirt across the room in a pile just starts to feel normal.

I started cleaning out my bedroom after I bought a new desk on black Friday. Emptied and dismantled my old, crumbling desk and found myself with a lot of displaced stuff that I didn't know what to do with.

It kind sat there in boxes for a few months till I was in the mood again after the new year and holidays were over with.

Yesterday I grabbed some storage bins from the store... Now it's all plastic rubs instead of boxes. Not sure if that's an improvement. Slowly getting there I think.

I do exactly this, but I also live with a husband and our two young kids, so by the time I make it to, say, the family room, the kitchen is just as in need of a clean as when I started the process. It's tough, even with a system.

Yep. I either get motivated right before I have to leave for work or think about all the things I need to get done and am motivated to get them done... Until I actually get home. I'll do it later...

Yeah I feel like I'm busting my butt all day at work, keeping things neat and clean and organized. By the time I get home I just want to chill.

Even oh my days off, I'm just too worn out.

Funnily enough, whenever I take vacation time, I find myself in the mood to clean by the third or fourth day.

I make the mistake of sitting at my computer with a nice drink thinking after a quick sit, I'll get back to it.

Then I get hungry and get lunch instead. But then I feel kinda sluggish so I have another sit at the computer. But then it's dinner time and by the time I'm done cooking something up, it's already late evening and I figure I need some me time... And there went the day.
