There's a big trend on TikTok and other places to fake various mental and physical disorders for clout and attention. One that is especially bad is people doing Dissociative Identity Disorder and people calling themselves "Systems" of like 100+ identities. There's also a lot of people faking Tourettes syndrome.

I assume anything that isn't immediately visible. Because the only disorders people can have are the ones they can directly see. /s

Check skunkw's response it explains what was meant

Ah, thanks. My mind jumped to thinking it was those people who don't believe in things like "depression" and "autism", and think it's just people being lazy or leeching off society or whatever.

I second that question. The EFF are fake disorders?

Check Skunkw's response.

People faking disorders for clout. People going "I forget things sometimes so I totally have severe ADHD (despite having no other symptoms or diagnosis)." "I feel sad sometimes, I'm totally depressed."

"Sometimes I have trouble understanding other people's emotions, so I'm totally autism spectrum. But not the ugly kind that has severe sensory processing issues. I've got the cool kind, like Sherlock from the TV show! It basically means I'm super smart, not that I just might have some basic empathy issues and development to go through as a person still because I'm young. Aren't I unique and cool? How dare you say that I'm causing problems for people actually diagnosed by muddying the waters and leading people not to take serious diagnosises seriously! I feel like I'm this thing, how dare you say that's not enough to label myself as it!"

So... pretending to have a disorder, then.

All of those things existed in 2009, but ok.
