He's outraged that it's public and he has to talk about it.

In his day you could slaughter thousands and there was nobody to record it.

Hence the sudden movement on net neutrality. They know they are fscked so last minute appeal to the kids. See also Kamala mentioning weed legalization

And suddenly having more talks about student loans

[-] livus@kbin.social 7 points 4 months ago

The kids hate them rn. Probably the real reason they are trying to shut down TikTok, it's full of young Palestinians.

Fuck Israel.

[-] krolden@lemmy.ml 42 points 4 months ago

He's outraged over his last poll numbers

[-] Thorry84@feddit.nl 23 points 4 months ago

No! You are killing the wrong guys! I am so mad right now.

But let's look at this as a teachable moment, here's some more weapons, now try and hit the right guys.

how dare you move the goalpost by wanting him to do action not just say a phrase

[-] go_go_gadget@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

Exactly. I totally remember all those leftists saying they would be happy if Biden just offered stern warnings. /s

If we lose our democracy, it's because Biden threw it away.

Biden is nothing but a disgusting politician. He has the ability to end the genocide. Right now. Instead, he's trying to find the right balance between outright stopping the genocide and slapping Israel on the wrist that turns his fucking polls around.

If Biden loses to Trump, it will be because Biden threw away what should be an easy victory.

He sucks, and has always sucked. There's a reason he was blown out of every primary before 2020. He's dumb, corrupt, reactionary and racist. His racism and closeness to the banks is why barfsack ocrumbo picked him as a running mate to begin with. Had to assure the ruling class he wasn't too far left. One last parting gift from that wet fart of a president.

Biden will do everything up to, but not including, standing up to the military industrial complex to help the people of Gaza.

[-] bartolomeo@suppo.fi 8 points 4 months ago

AIPAC has a lot to do with it, it's not just the MIC (this time).

[-] Revan343@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 months ago

Yeah, if it was just the military industrial complex driving this, they'd be pushing Ukraine aid too

[-] K1nsey6@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 months ago

That additional $1.4m hes received since January may have helped in getting more weapons and hollow platitudes

[-] K1nsey6@lemmy.ml 5 points 4 months ago

It took the deaths of 7 white people to get him 'outraged?'

[-] barrbaric@hexbear.net 5 points 4 months ago

For the record it's 5 white people, 1 Palestinian, 1 Indian-australian. And he still doesn't care, but the optics of being seen not to care would be bad. Seems like he's now aware that he's going to eat shit in the election this fall and is trying to appear as though he opposes the genocide while doing nothing to stop it.

Moderates and liberals picked a loser of a candidate in the 2020 primaries.

[-] Etterra@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

The voters weren't really given an alternative.

[-] go_go_gadget@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

There were lots of alternatives in the 2020 primaries what are you talking about?

[-] Etterra@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

What consequences?
